(Dry Granulator)Roller compactor adopts continuous feeding and discharging. integrates the extrusion, crushing and granulating functions, directly makes powder into granules. It is especially suitable for granulation of materials which are wet, hot, easily broken down or agglomerated. It has been widely used in pharmaceutical, food. chemical and other industries. In the pharmaceutical industry. granules made by the roller compactor can be directly pressed into tablets or filled into capsules.

During the granulation process, the dosed and mixed dry powder materials are fed into the upper hopper by the special feeder (pneumatic or mechanical) and conveyed to the pressure chamber by the spiral conveyor. The two high pressure extrusion wheels press the materials into high pressure density discs, which are cut into small pieces by the cutting system and made into granules of the desired size by the two-stage granule sizing system, thus completing the granulation process.
The IVEN roller compactor mainly consists of the following parts: material feeding system, directional material feeding system, extrusion system, crushing system, water cooling system, granule sizing system and hydraulic system, crushing system, front cover system, water cooling system, granule sizing system, hydraulic system, machine body combination, cover plate combination and rotating screen system (not for partition installation).
